After many years in the corporate world, I began taking acrylic painting lessons with a friend that has been an artist for some forty years. Although I have always dabbled in the arts and admired the masters, I found a real joy and great satsifaction in my paintings. I hope you will do the same.
I am a member of the Pocono Mountains Art Group and the Pocono Arts Council based in Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania. As a member of these groups, I have participated in many shows in Pennsylvania and New Jersey and have been the recipient of several awards.
At present, I am a children's advocate for a crisis center for victims of domestic violence and sexual assault. I am also on the board of directors of a training center for developmentally challenged clients.
My art has become an important part of my working with victims and clients. Painting has also given me a meaningful emotional outlet that allows me to continue working in this type of environment.
